FUNCTION
The emergency case identification is built on a self-risk assessment combining several personal safety features and the signals received from the integrated sensors. HR and HRV are measured for instant stress classification and evaluation of several health metrics associated with those two variables. Personal features are customised though a series of technical settings. Whether it is the user who feels uncomfortable or being in danger (physical or health) and presses the button or the system automatically detects an abnormal condition (permanently activated Risk Alert button), an audible alarm is triggered.

In most cases, this is achieved by means of fall detection, followed by a series of health protocol based questions. The user is given a short period of time, to cease the trigger, excluding the case of accidental activation, by double clicking on it. If not, received data are processed by a smart algorithm that reduces the noise and indicates with significant accuracy a real emergency condition for the user.

Even in cases of people who face Dementia / Alzheimer and related diseases, it locates and informs selected contacts of their location, on a custom period (default setting per 1 hour) to ensure they don't get lost and can always get traced.

Preselected contacts are communicated through automatic phone call and SMS messaging. The alert contains the identity of the user in danger and exact details of the location, as received by the GPS, including coordinates and links with maps. Simultaneously, the generated report is transferred to a dedicated Emergency Operations Center, and handled appropriately.
